Quebec on Two Levels
A photo of Quebec City taken in early morning from the Rue du Marché-Champlain. This shows that Quebec is a city on two levels: the lower city, along the St. Lawrence River waterfront, was the site of the original settlement (founded 1608), while the upper city contains, among many other things, the Château Frontenac.
